like if i type in something... almost anything... ill use the random phrases: play dough, good food, seafood, cheap video cameras, cheap wallets, used toasters, kitchen blenders... candy.... roller rinks.... it know my city and state and stuff in my area... so if i type in something like white castle... the search suggests my zip code, state or city or both... and gives all the phones numbers to white castles in my area.... how do i get rid of this? there is a part that says my city and asks me if i want to change my location... but it wont let me disable it and says it "auto detects".... and i don't have google toolbar... so it says its using MY IP ADDRESS??!?!?! this is creepy... its creepy enough that they give me ads that relate to things iv googled in the past... every ad is something iv googled.... how can i disable this stuff or is their nothing i can do about it?

Unusual problem with new water heater,any opinions?

i ran a service call in october 2008 for a no hot water complaint on a 2 or 3 day old rheem power vent natural gas water heater..model # 42VP4OFW....the problem turned out to be a large amount of "flakes" had come down off of the bottom of the tank and,or,the flueway..the flakes had actually bridged the gap between the flame sensing rod and the burner which causes the control module to lock out since it cant determine whether or not a flame is present when the gas valve is open.....i cleared the flakes,brushed the bottom of the tank,and blew compressed air up through the flueway with the power vent blower on and pressure switch disconnected....i called rheem tech support,they had no explanation but requested the homeowner mail them some of the flakes for them to analyze...the homeowner mailed the flakes so that the rheem rep had to sign for the package... the rep never got back to the homeowner even though the homeowner called several times,left messages,etc...the water heater has been fine since then,no trouble...wondering if anyone out there has run into a similar problem on a new water heater...did rheem have a problem with many of these water heaters or was this isolated?..was the factory rep too lazy to get back to homeowner,,or did he not want to divulge the problem if he even knows what it is..what caused the [large] flakes in a brand new tank?...thanks in advance for your answers...........dan

If i got my male cat neutered, will he stop spraying?

Okay so about 2 days ago, i found a stray kitty. We took him to the vet today and he checked out great. He's healthy. So the next step is to get him neutered, declawed and see if he'll get along with my other kitty. We have him penned up in the basement bc he isn't litter trained yet(although he is on his way! There is nothing wrong with that. No where in the bible does it say you have to go to church to worship him. I go to church because I enjoy the fellowship and I like it. Just remember though that not all people who call themselves Christians are. As long as you read your bible and fallow that then you will develop a relationship with God. Prayer does help too. What denomination where you brought up as or service do you go to now. I go to a non-denominational church and I like it. You might not have found the right church for you.

I feel physically sick, how do I move on from this?

Whenever someone is attracted to me and openly expresses it, I begin to feel physically sick; as though I am going to vomit. I have been talking to a boy in the year above me at school recently, just out of common interest in our conversations and friendship, but he has begun to show an interest in me that is beyond that. He started asking me to go out with him in his car at lunchtime, and I agreed to do so, but not because I am attracted to him. I felt strange about the situation because I do not like it when someone who I am not physically attracted to shows an interest in me. I have not encouraged any interest on his behalf, so I have not lured him into a false belief that I am available for a relationship with him. I have not been at school this week because I suffer from depression and I could not cope, but yesterday, a friend told me that every day he has continuously been asking where I am and looking for me in areas around the school. Should I become a R.D. or go into an alternative medicine profession?

I am in my early twenties, doing restaurant work as a baker. I am unfulfilled because I have a bachelor's degree in science and have had an interest in nutrition since high school. I LOVE cooking and baking and went to culinary school for this, but I want to help people in another way, still involving food. I believe in the saying, "Let food by thy medicine, thy medicine shall be thy food." The problem is I see dietitians sometimes as food gurus giving clients a list of dos and don'ts, and honestly I don't agree with this. I see the client as a whole, who may come to a dietician for a weight, or food-related problem, but who would actually benefit more from a homeopathic, exercise, eastern medicine, or alternative medicine advice. From research I have been doing, it seems hard to be a credible practitioner in these fields, without a valid medical degree in Western science. But, I cannot se myself as a Western doctor, at the same time I cannot see myself just as a R.D., without extensive medical knowledge of the human body. I guess I am torn between Eastern and Western medicine, but ultimately, I want to be a preventative focused doctor, rather than a reactionary doctor if that makes sense. I know that I am a good listener, and can deal with many types of people, and I have a great interest in science, but I am truly a chef and musician at heart. I didn't mean to throw that curveball in there, but maybe now you can understand me a bit better. I don't like much working for a boss, as I see myself as an entrepreneur and leader. How would I ever get through a traditional medical school like this? I question all figures of authority and find that other students rarely have the level of enthusiasm I have for the subject we are learning. Perhaps, I am best suited NOT to go back to school, and be the chef and musician I am, but I believe in 10 years, I will want to push my science knowledge and help others in another way. What could it be that keeps terrorizing me?

My things are disappearing then reappearing either back in the same place 20 minutes to a day later or end up in a completely different room. Broken trust with my significant other?

Copying data in Excel from columns to rows?

I am exporting data from an old database to a new and improved one. Unfortunately, when the data was exported from the old database, it exported into two different Excel spreadsheets. One of the spreadsheets is organized by rows (ie. name, address, city, state, zip, etc.) while the second spreadsheet is organized by columns (ie. first row: first payment, date entered, type; second row: second payment, date entered, type and so on). One customer could have more than 5 rows of payments listed in the Excel spreadsheet. The one saving grace is that the account number matches the customer and all payments made to the company. My problem is that I need to get all the information on the same row, so that the new database recognizes the information is intended to stay with that customer. Am I making sense? Is there an Excel macro that I may be able to use to match the customer number to pull the information into the same row? Or is it just going to have to be manually done?

I have been dating my boyfriend for 8 months...we have been on a romantic vacation together to Mexico, have spoken about getting married, and have looked into my moving to the city he is from. We got into a fight sunday night before i left about his obsessiveness about my past again and then we made up - monday and tuesday he was back to obsessing and now last night he is threatening to break up with me again. Okay so I already had the the driver installed for my nVidia GeForce 550 GTX Ti. I was getting lag in a video game so I figured something must be wrong with the drivers. I uninstalled them then tried to reinstall them. I downloaded the driver install file and then tried to add the installation driver files to my computer so I could install them, and then about 61% of the way it says "7-zip internal error, code 105". Idk whats wrong, I never had this problem the first time. Also, I have already tried right clicking and going down to "Run as Administrator" and it didn't do anything. Help?

I would very much like to join the US Navy. I was filling out my SF-86 form for secret clearance, and there is a section that states to mark "no" for any inpatient or outpatient counselling if it involves family, grief or marital issues and is not violent/court ordered. This is NOT the case on the DD forms that MEPS uses. My recruiter insisted that if I divulge the records surrounding my 3-day voluntary stay at a psych counselling center that they will deem me unfit for military service. I am highly intelligent, scored really high on the ASVAB (94) and have not had any recurring issues pertaining to job performance, every day stress, anxiety etc. I was not diagnosed with any kind of mood disorder or any behavioral issue, I simply needed to speak with someone who was trained and objective in helping me deal with very troubling family issues related to my mother's drug use and her abusive relationship situation. This was an ongoing issue that my brother and I were faced with for years and I had a hard time accepting that there was no way I could fix it or help her. I guess it was depression but it was situational and not some chemical imbalance, and I checked myself in and out after completing the program. Now, my recruiter has instructed me to lie, but I just don't feel right about it. I have pretty high moral standards and am a terrible liar. I have heard from people who have told me they will definitely find out, and several who have told me as long as I keep saying no to all instances pertaining to psych records that they will not find them because if I answer no I will no have to sign a release. I dont know if I trust this, and even still, I think it is wrong. But I also do not thing my one, 3-day visit to the counselling center over things that have nothing to do with my work performance, ability to handle pressure, or performance should disbar me from military service. Is this an automatic PDQ and if so is it at all possible to be granted a waiver for this? It was 5 years ago and I have not had any counselling or anything since or before that instance.

2 fighter jets flew east near Buffalo, NY yesterday 6/26/11 at about 5:45pm. Where are they from or going?

I'm in Cheektowaga, NY, an eastern suburb of Buffalo, NY. By the time I saw them after thinking they didn't sound like typical jets flying overhead after taking off from Buffalo Niagara International, they were already 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile east of my position. They were about 2,000 feet up. From what I could tell, they looked like A10 Warthogs. They both seemed to have the large tail section and turbines mounted at the rear section of the fuselage near the tail. They weren't moving as if they were in a hurry (scrambling), but certainly were moving at a decent clip. I can't say for sure that these were indeed A10s, but at the time I saw them, that's what I thought they were. Any idea what air bases in the Northeast US have A10s or somewhat similar aircraft? I'm not finding much accurate information at the moment. We get the occasional C130 (Niagara Air Reserve Station) passing over, but very rarely do we get a fighter, let alone 2, zipping through our airspace.

Am I being misguided?

I've been dating a woman who is a devout christian and quite religious. I on the other hand am not. I beleive in God but I'm in no way a religious individual (read between the lines). I used to live in Phoenix, AZ. My neighbors had a cat who lived outside and had lots a litter of 5 kittens. The mama cat had her kittens on the streets and they grew up there. Because of that, 2 got hit by cars. One must've gotten in a fight or attacked by adog because he had a infected and broken looking leg. He soon died. One day, we saw the neighbors who owned the cats, moved out. They took the mom and left behind the two remaining cats. My mom took the cats in. (boy and girl, such sweethearts! They were 2 months old and adorable! :)) anyway, a year later we moved to Pennsylvania. We moved to the country side where there was nature all around. Since the cats were born outside cats, they always ran outside a lot. So much, after a while, whenever they would sit at the door, we'd open the door and they'd come back an hour or so later. Don't judge, they didn't come back hurt and they stayed close to home, NEVER ran away. They seemed happy outside, and even in winter they'd some times go out. But when my little boy(Tony) was two, he went out and never came back :'( he got hit by a car :''( I still cry, but (please be nice) was I being a bad owner? They seemed happy outside, they had lots of energy and they'd be bored stuck in the house all day. We took care of them and I loved Tony like a son, his sister (Holly) was my sister's cat. Looking for craigslist roomates, what info is safe to divulge?

So I've never searched for a craigslist roommate before. What info is ok to disclose in the first email, and which do you wait to tell? For example I won't be working full time as I"m a student. But I have a large amount of money in a savings account for rent. Do I tell them that?

Do companies have ways to know if an applicant has a degree if...?

they did not specify it on their application? Ex: Instead of saying they have a bachelors or masters degree, they circle "high-school diploma" in the "highest education completed" section. If they don't want to be considered overqualified, would they have to divulge such information? How would an a potential employer truly know of the highest education completed by an applicant if all they say is a high-school diploma? Can they verify that you have a degree, even if you state otherwise?

Made to measure bridesmaid dresses that DON'T fit!?

Hi Everyone - Im really hoping someone can help me! Im one of three bridesmaids & we have a problem! Our dresses were purchased from a bridal shop in Reading, Berkshire but were to be made in China. We had our measurements taken in early February & our dresses finally landed yesterday. The material is lovely, the colour just as the bride wanted, the stitching is perfect ... problem is THEY DONT FIT! They are in no way, shape or form 'made to measure'!! The smallest bridesmaid has put on about 4lb since February, she was worried her dress wouldnt fit ... its hanging off her - the bust is way too big. Me (the middle one) have lost weight & inches with a personal trainer - my dress will not go anywhere near me - the gap between the two sides of the zip on the back are about 6" apart ... the other bridesmaid who had the biggest measurements, has lost 1 1/2 stone since February her dress only just fits (she thinks its too tight) and its about a foot too long!!! What the hell are we meant to do? to top it off, the bride wanted a shoulder piece on the dress (hard to explain) but basically a piece of material fixed from the bust going over the shoulder & fixing on the back ... she specifically said how wide, where abouts from & too ... the dress arrives with a rectangular piece of material that HOOKS on ... at no point did she ask for it to be detatchable! She is devastated, okay yes its all fixable (using a different seamstress) but its not the point, they are not made to measure, they are not even how she asked for them to be! to make matters worse, the supplier, a very agressive & unapproachable woman is refusing to speak to us saying she told us they would be unchangeable or refundable as they were made to measure. The bride does have a contract with this woman but as the dresses are not "fit for purpose" is there anything we can do? I personally would be demanding a refund as I wouldnt trust her to make the alterations! If anyone has any advice you could give us we would be eternally grateful - thankfully the wedding isnt for another 8 weeks & the seamstress we know is a lovely lady & says she'll fix it no problem but that doesnt mean this other woman should be able to get away with something like this! Okayy, so I know that I have to click download, then open, and then extract all files or whatever. But my problem is they aren't opening as zip files, they try to open as image files and they want to open in Paint, which doesn't work. I've been dating a woman who is a devout christian and quite religious. I on the other hand am not. I beleive in God but I'm in no way a religious individual (read between the lines). The term "chasing money" she used to obviously describe how me and how I think, came from me telling my baby brother who spent his youth chasing girls and spending his money on impressing them which in turn put him in a lot of trouble. My advice to him wasnt to sit and wait for things to change for him nor to spend his entire earnings on women...but to focus on improving himself, his situation, his credit and of course become more secure financially..... in other words i told my brother to "focus on his money"...... and she took that and completely used it against me (among other things that I say and she twist them against me)....the advise I gave my bro was the same motto I used for myself and thus i have repaired my credit, I'm financially stable infact I've improved, not only financially but the wellbeing of my life has improved significantly, but i still pray and thank God for all of it....... anyway before I divulge into something else..... Christians, beleivers.... do i have it all wrong? Am I misguided?

Zip file download, will it ever stop?

Ok here is the assignment. I need to create a file folder called Performance Threads and put 3 documents into that plus a new file folder that has two documents. Easy. Did that. Than I need to make a jpg copy of the print screen. Include two more files one from paint and one from wordpad in a new zip folder called Lesson 2. Ok including the files was easy. I have the zip folder that has the word and paint file made, but I am struggling to get the print screen saved. The instructor wants to see a print screen of the folder one one side and the files on the other side saved as prntscrn.jpg. I can email all the files to you if need be. I can't divulge too much information here but I can't in good conscience just not say anything. I don't know what could happen if this is not caught. People could get seriously injured. We have been infested with ants this season. My husband sprays Bayer ant killer outside at the perimeter of the house and also around the windows. but, they still find their way in. We don't leave food out..only fruits. Everything else is put away or in zip lock bags. They are on the floor, the counters, and climbing up the walls. They are mostly in the kitchen; however, there a few in the bathroom and even in my son's room. we also have Terro liquid traps and that works but it seems as if when 100 die another 100 take their place. What is the best thing to do? I even had a couple of ants crawling up my arms. I am just disgusted! I told my husband we need to get someone to spray and we should also spray the flower pots. How can I help my boyfriend not *** quickly?

My boyfriend and i have been having intercourse for about 2 months now, and he on average lasts between 5 to ten minutes, and has lasted at max 20-30 minutes. He divulged to me that this has only happened to him when he was very eager to get with someone, but we've been together for a year now, so he shouldn't be that eager anymore. I need some hair advice O.o?

Ok i need some advice on my hair real bad. this has been going on for a while. every time i go to wash my hair i guess you can say it feels really hard. lol idk how else to explain this its as if brittle and it feels super dry. then it clumps together into hard knots and its hard to get rid of them but the worst part is all the hair i lose when i try to get rid of the knots in the shower (which is why my shower drain is always clogged) and i know you are suppossed to lose hair but not as much as i do. i dont know if i have the water to hot or im using the wrong shampoo. right now im using vital care world wide sulfate free deep reconstructing shampoo and the conditioner. but before that i was using the wen. (i actually didnt buy it my friend had some leftover bottles of it) maybe thats why my hair has been so dry but idk. this might also be of some helpful information. i am hispanic since everybody has different hair types and my hair is naturally curly. so if you have some hair care advice please help D: gracias
